System For Analysis of Biathlon Statistics
Zeman, Ondřej ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create a web application that downloads biathlon data and statistics and use the technique to get knowledge from data to get interesting and unusual information. In this work are solving descriptive and predictive mining tasks. Clustering algorithms have been used for descriptive mining tasks and for search patterns in course and shooting statistics. Prediction of race results is solved by using multiple linear regression. The application is implemented in Python. Web application is available at https://analysisofbiathlonstatistics.herokuapp.com.
Mathematical Model of Hardness Distribution inside Backing Roll
Kracík, Adam ; Horová, Ivana (referee) ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Jandoš, František (referee) ; Maroš, Bohumil (advisor)
The aim of this work is to get the best detailed knowledge about hardness distribution in first 60 mm below the surface of backing roll. To this end, a method for obtaining multi-dimensional polynomial regression was developed and then a computer program for its processing was written.Way of finding suitable regression surfaces and their subsequent interpretation, is a pivotal part of this work.
Analysis of the Chinese green bond market and factors influencing issuance interest rates

Local scale snow accumulation and ablation variability using high spatial resolution data
Cuřín, Vojtěch ; Jeníček, Michal (advisor) ; Minařík, Robert (referee)
The focus of this bachelor's thesis is snow depth variability at local scale and modern methods of snow depth measurement with high accuracy, precision and resolution. The main goal is to provide an overview of current research in this area, give comparison of the most widely used methods and outline their most appropriate fields of application. A part of this work is also dedicated to an evaluation of snow distribution over a study area in Filipohuťský creek basin in Šumava (Bohemian Forest) and to an assessment of the impact of selected variables on snow depth variability using multiple linear regression models. This is done using manual snow depth measurement data and local digital surface model with high resolution. Multiple linear regression models capture the snow depth variability more precisely than models based on ordinary kriging, nevertheless the regression coefficients of selected predictors are too inconsistent to confirm their effect. Key words: snow depth, photogrammetry, laser scanning, multiple linear regression
Geography of Sport and Conditionality of Attendance of Ice Hockey in Czechia
Skuhrovec, Jakub ; Chromý, Pavel (advisor) ; Šerý, Miloslav (referee)
This academic work is devoted to the examination of the relationship between geography and sport. Firstly, it presents the geography of sport as a subdiscipline in the system of geography. Afterwards it discusses the relationship between geography and sport in general in different environments and at different scale levels. After the general introduction, the work deals with sports attendance as a possible characteristics of the position of sport in the area. The analytical part examines the relationship between geography and sport on specific mechanisms in a particular environment. The research studies ice hockey in the Czechia. In the first part of the analysis, ice hockey is generally presented from the beginning to the present in the area, then the attendance of the highest domestic hockey league in the period not marked by significant changes in spatial administration (from 1993, when Czechoslovakia ceased to exist, or from 2000, when the self-governmental regions were established), until 2019, when the league under investigation was not affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The analyzed data come mostly from official internet sources. The position of sport in society is changing in time and space. Sport is creating the identity and social community. The attendance of the league is growing...
Housing prices in Prague
Wagner, Michal ; Ouředníček, Martin (advisor) ; Lux, Martin (referee)
This master thesis deals with the analysis of housing prices in Prague. The main goal is to identify and explain the factors which have an influence on the prices of flats at the macro and micro level. Two spatial statistic methods, namely multiple linear regressions and geographically weighted regressions (GWR), are used in the first part of the thesis, which deals with the prices in Prague in general. The influence on the values of flats in Prague basic settlement units caused by several factors such as the distance from the Old Town Square, age of dwellings, the presence of migrants or air pollution was investigated using these two methods. The price map of the association of real estate agencies, the Czech Statistical Office and the Prague Institute of Planning and Development provided the data used in the presented research. Price profiles from the centre of Prague to the suburbs in various directions were also created and analyzed. Factors with an influence on housing prices at the micro level in a case study of the Prague cadastral territory of Modřany are described in the second part of the thesis. The analysis of new developer projects and older flats in panel houses investigates the influence on the housing prices caused by factors such as noise, physical condition of apartments and the quality of...

Vliv devizové intervence České národní banky na vývoj inflace v České republice
Šenkýřová, Veronika
Bachelor thesis deals with effects of foreign exchange interventions in short and long term. Czech national bank did FX intervention in november 2013 and its aim was to increase inflation in Czech republic to prevented deflation. It would have a very worse impact on the economy. I mention other arguments which Czech national bank defends this step. I also mention opinions international organizations and opponents which reject the treat of deflation and refute other arguments Czech national bank. The practical part use to multiple linear regression to identify whether FX intervention contributed to the rise in inflation in the Czech Republic.
